Motorola has tasted huge success with their mid range and budget smartphones, namely the Moto X, Moto G and the Moto E. Motorola recently released the upgraded versions of Moto X and Moto G with better specs. Last year Motorola had promised that the new series of smartphones will be getting the latest updates pretty soon and they updated the first generation Moto X and Moto G to Android KitKat earlier this year.

Today, with the release of Android Lollipop by Google, the company has now confirmed that all these devices will be getting the new update. In a blog post, Motorola has confirmed the same, but there is no mention on the timing.
