LinkedIn is a social networking website which was launched in May 2003 and it is mainly used for professional networking. As of 9 February 2012, LinkedIn reports more than 150 million registered users in more than 200 countries and territories. Few days back there was a major password leak in which Crytographic hashes of millions of LinkedIn user passwords were stolen by hackers who then published the stolen hashes.
