Samsung is looking to consolidate its position in the Android tablet segment and has now announced the GALAXY Tab 3 series with 8-inch and 10.1-inch tablets which will be available globally beginning of June. Galaxy Tab 3 8inch tablet features an 8-inch WXGA TFT(1280 x 800, 189PPI) and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It runs on 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor with 1.5GB RAM and comes with 16GB/ 32GB storage options along with microSD card support.
It also has support for 4G LTE along with normal connectivity options like Wi-Fi and 3G. It also comes with a 4450mAh battery.
GALAXY Tab 3 8-inch features S Translator, which provides instant translation through voice recognition and via text on applications including email, text message, and ChatON.

The storage options include 16/32GB with microSD card support. Unlike the 8 inch tablet, the 10.1 inch comes with only a 3MP camera.
