This awesome new app for Android brings in two major features, firstly it is a Twitter widget which can be added to your home screen, so that you can check the tweets, reply etc directly from the home screen. Secondly the app is also available as a full application instead of the widget, so you can choose between the two.
What more? You can customize the widget to any size, change the colors, fonts, themes etc and there is also notifications. Moreover, there is something refreshing about Falcon in its UI. Below you can see the widget in action on Android 4.2.
From the settings, you can customize the display and themes. The app also comes with an internal browser which loads the mobile or trimmed down version of any website, so that data usage is reduced.
The full app is also pretty impressive with its UI. It supports almost all features including favorites, lists, trends and also search.
The user profile view also shows the cover photo added to your profile. If you see in the below screenshot, the web page has be automatically (can be changed in settings) opened in mobile mode when it is not connected to Wi-Fi.
While the widget can be downloaded from the Play store, the full app version is available on XDA Developers (download it here). The app version will not be free when it hits the play store, but you can now test the beta version for free.
