Flipboard is a social-network aggregation, magazine-format app software for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. It is a very popular app that its Android version was expected very soon. With the release of much awaited Samsung Galaxy S3, it was announced that Flipboard would be an exclusive app for SGS3 and would be available to other Android phones in the coming months. But now, user at XDA- Developers forum has made available the apk file for Flipboard for Android. You can install this version on any Android phone.
The app is very much similar to the iOS version and you can connect to your Facebook and Twitter account and also read your favorite RSS feeds in magazine format.
Since the file is apk version, you need to enable installation of “untrusted” sources in the Android settings and enjoy Flipboard for Android.
