Recently Yahoo has rolled out feature where you can chat with your Facebook friends inside Yahoo Messenger. With the new update, you can now chat with Facebook friends inside Yahoo Mail as well. On the left, you’ll see “Facebook Friends” under “Online Contacts”. If you click on the thunderbolt icon, you will be prompted to authenticate on Facebook Connect (if you haven’t already). Once you’ve authenticated, your online Facebook friends will appear below “Online Contacts” and you can chat freely.
The chat window is pretty neat and very much similar to Yahoo Messenger and it also comes with smiley support.
You can easily chat with your Yahoo messenger and Facebook contacts right inside your Yahoo mail.
