Windows 7 Boot Updater is freeware tool which will allow you to modify the boot screen animation in Windows along with the ability to edit boot screen text as well. The application is still in alpha stage and being developed.

Is there a way to change it completely to the vista start?

Mine reverted to a Vista start after a failed boot up. I lost my custom start up and now have the Vista one. Can’t help you anymore than that I’m afraid.
