JEPUM or Joomla Easy Picture Uploader and Manager is a freeware tool based on Adobe Air which allows you to upload photos to your Joomla powered website and also manager them easily from a dashboard. Once installed, you need to provide the Joomla login credentials for your site and also configure the FTP for your website. Once this is set up, you can easily upload photos using the drag and drop interface.
You can add as many sites using the options.
It provides the following core functionality:

- Automatic picture uploading to specific folder on your Joomla Media Manager
- Easily check the pictures in each folder and delete pictures no longer needed

Let me just add two things for clarification. There is both a free version of JEPUM and a commercial. The free version only supports connection to one site at a time, while the commercial allows for multiple sites.
The FTP configuration is only necessary if you prefer to install the JEPUM Joomla extension through JEPUM and not through the Joomla backoffice.
