BurnURL is a new service from ReadBurner, which makes it easy to share content across the Web. At first look BurnURL seems like any other URL shortening service, but it has more features than other services. When you enter any URL with BurnURL, it burns and creates a shortened URL. So what exactly is the difference with other service? It allows you to share the URL with other services like Twitter, Facebook, Mix, Digg, StumbleUpon Delicious etc.
When you open the BurnURL link, you can actually see a toolbar on top of the website opened which gives additional options for sharing the URL.
You can also rate the URL up or down based on your liking which will be displayed when the same URL is shared with someone else. Apart from this, you can also see how many hits the URL has.
In case you do not want the toolbar, you can close it and BurnURL will redirect you to the actual URL. BurnURL blog mentions that there are more features coming in future releases.
