The latest version of Ubuntu, 8.10 Intrepid Ibex has been released and made available for download. The new desktop environment in Ubuntu 8.10, GNOME 2.24.1, brings many new and helpful features. Ubuntu 8.10 includes Open Office.org, integrated email and calendaring, note taking, web browsing with Firefox 3, F-Spot for photo editing and uploading and many more features.
