Create Online Meetings and Share Desktops with Mikogo

Mikogo is a new software that offers online meetings, screen sharing, remote control, file transfer services. With Mikogo you can share presentations in true color across the web with upto 10 people participating in the meeting. Mikogo is completely secure as they are using industry-leading 256-AES end-to-end encryption.

Mikogo can be employed for a range of professional, academic, or personal uses, including online meetings, product demonstrations, online presentations, remote support, or webinars.

During a meeting, users are able to:

  • Share each others’ screens,
  • Change presenters,
  • Access remote control,
  • Pause transmission,
  • Select only certain applications for sharing, and
  • Transfer files.

The person who creates the meeting will have to download the application and start screen sharing. A meeting ID will be available which has to be given to people who wants to join the meeting. To join the meeting, meeting tool needs to be installed.

Mikogo also has a Firefox add-on which will allow you to start or join a meeting. After installing the add-on, a M icon will be available at top right of the Firefox browser. Mikogo is available in Skype as well which allows free phone calls with free sharing.

Mikogo is completely FREE software for online meetings and desktop sharing.
