Many times we might have faced with the situation that your friend has changed his/her email id or address, but forgot to inform you about the change. In case you are using LinkedIn, its easy to update all contacts info in your Outlook mail box using the LinkedIn toolbar.

Linked in LinkedIn toolbar for Outlook allows you to integrate your Outlook address book with LinkedIn database. This toolbar compares all the email address in your Outlook with database.

This toolbar is pretty useful one and it does 3 important jobs.

  • Firstly it asks whether to update all the contacts info in your address book with the one in database if there are any matches. Each and every time when the contact updates in LinkedIn, this toolbar gives an option to update.
  • Secondly, this add-on keeps on checking whether any person in your Outlook contacts has created a new LinkedIn Profile and updates their information.
  • This toolbar also reminds you to keep in touch with friends with whom you dont have any contacts for past 6 days.

This toolbar is very much useful if you use Outlook and LinkedIn regularly and you have a good number of contacts.

    Oh, another toolbar. My browser is already crowded.
    But it seems a cool one. Let me check it.

    @Silky,
    This is not a browser toolbar, its an outlook toolbar. 🙂
