HMD Global has announced the global debut of Nokia 2.2 today. The device was also launched in India for a price of Rs 6,999 for 2GB variant while the 3GB variant retails for Rs 7,999. The device is an entry-level phone with 5.71-inch HD+ resolution display and comes with Android 9.0 along with 3000mAh battery.

Nokia 2.2 is the cheapest Nokia smartphone with Android One platform right now with Android 9.0. So here are the top 5 features to look for in Nokia 2.2.

1. Android One:

Similar to any other Nokia smartphone, the Nokia 2.2 also comes with Android 9.0 and is under the Android One platform. This means that there is no bloatware included in the phone and it runs on stock Android. Apart from this, the device will also be getting all the latest software security patches and Android version updates. Nokia 2.2 is probably one of the cheapest smartphones with Android One out of the box. The device is already ready for Android Q.

2. Water Drop Notch:

Nokia 2.2 comes with the new water drop notch which was a trend for mid-range phones and now it is being carried forward to budget segments as well. The phone has a 5.71-inch HD+ display with a water drop notch. The display looks good with 400 nits of brightness.

The camera snaps multiple images simultaneously and through advanced algorithms creates a single image with more light, greater detail and less noise. The phone packs a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies.

Nokia 2.2 offers access to new digital wellbeing tools including a dashboard, app timer, Wind Down mode and the improved Do Not Disturb.
