In most cases(not all) live cd’s are better than having 2 os. En la mayoría de los casos (no todas) de Live CD's son mejor que tener 2 os.

You can directly run from the CD/DVD, but this will have more effective features to run the guest OS. Usted puede ejecutar directamente desde el CD / DVD, pero esto va a tener características más eficaces para ejecutar el sistema operativo invitado.

I personally use the LiveCD provided with Ubuntu distros.. Yo personalmente uso el LiveCD de Ubuntu con distribuciones .. Adding another software is something I am usually tired of doing.. I use a remote desktop connection to connect with another PC though virtual server would be a better option as it will allow me to connect to different OS from the same machine. i am using vmware to run my ubuntu linux but i am stuck with expanding size of my vmware virtual disk. Estoy utilizando VMware para ejecutar mi ubuntu linux pero estoy atascado con la ampliación de tamaño de mi disco virtual VMware.
