Ποια είναι η βέλτιστη συχνότητα ταχυδρόμησης;

Yes Nirmal you are right. It depends on the content.

I never post because I’ve to. I post things, I feel is worth enough.
I feel it boils to content. I’ve never subscribed/unsubscribed to any blog basing on the posting frequency.
My blog has it’s own cult following (hundreds if not thousands) and I fell they might not unsubscribe because I post too often/don’t post as much. It all boils to new readers.

Yes, I do agree with you that it all depends on the content.
In school days, I post once in every two days. But I sometimes do more than one post on weekends and holidays.

definitely I post more when my girlfriend is not around
anyway, I’ve been thinking about unsubscribing from Mashable as they post far too much recently. I don’t do it because of sentimental reasons as there was a time I really like it but I guess other people are not as silly as me and they will eventually unsubscribe from it. I think is because of the time that takes to check ALL the posts, specially if for any reason I can’t manage to check my reader for more than one day…
So, I agree with Problogger, too many posts is not good (we are talking about dozens of posts per day).
I must accept from time to time I post some very personal things, for example when I visit other countries, and I guess that’s why I don’t have many RSS subscribers (less than 50
)
salut!

That’s quite a good analysis Nirmal. You are right, with these examples it is hard to judge whether or not over posting or lack of posting can gain you subscribers.
But yes writing 10-15 possts per day would be too much for the users. I usually post several times over a week with no particular frequency, sometimes it can be 2 a week or sometimes it may be 10 depending on what I find interesting to post.

Well I suppose for new bloggers like me, the optimum post frequency should be once in every 2 days. You got to provide your content as much exposure as possible.
But yes if you are engaged in other activities then it can get delayed.
Thats what I believe.
Plz, correct me if you feel I am wrong.

I guess it is hard to gauge from your examples but interesting observations nonetheless.
I post about 5 posts a week and average 20-25 posts a month. As a few others have mentioned, I never post because I have to only if I feel it is worth writing about. And many times when I want to write about something, I’ll see it covered left and right in the mainstream I just say to myself ‘forget it’.
But, that’s probably why I my RSS number hasn’t crossed 200 yet.

I post in my blog as when time permits. I have free time then it is definetly utilized for blogging. Sometimes i don’t post for months and sometimes I post daily. All this depends on the day job as sometimes I don’t have time to breathe at all and at time a little relaxed schedule.

Good issue to tackle. Aside from the kind of content, I think it also depends on your readership. Those who’ve subscribed or made your blog a regular stop probably wouldn’t mind a slight increase or decrease in posting frequency.
If they’ve come to the conclusion that they like the way you write, one post more or less shouldn’t matter.
Loved the post buddy.

Posting frequency is never an issue, regardless of what you’ve been told or led to believe. It’s always about the content. My feed subscribers go up and down all the time and it isn’t tied into the posting frequency at all.
Feedreaders usually have a post count next to each feed. It lets you know before you even check how many posts are waiting. Only a real, um, (bad word person) would use that as an excuse to unsubscribe. Who reads all the feeds in the first place? I don’t have that kind of time.

I like to keep mine at around 1 a day but when i am really busy it can reach 1 every 2 days .So basically it varies from time to time . However i feel that it should not increse 5 .

Nice research here, I truely agree with Ernesto Quezada. If the posting frequency is too high, say 10 - 15 per day, it feels really uncomfortable to read it.
Add yeah, Girl Friends… I agree on that point as well!

Good discussion seems to be going here. I too agree to the fact that too much posting say around 10-15 articles can cause subscribers to leave your blog. Its difficult to read all those. Increase in posting by 1-3 posts will be effect your readers.
Thanks everyone for your comments.

lately i ve stopped bothering about posting frequency
and now i am easily managing 1 posts per day
And regarding :
too many posts was one of the top reasons for readers to unsubscribe from your blog.
if readers are getting interesting content they will not ..however if someone is posting just becoz of its posting frequency then they definitely unsubscribe..
btw i never unsubscribe to any blog by this time..and the list is increasing day by day

Hey nirmal…Thanks for mentioning mine and keeping track of my subscribers count…even I was suprised and this sometimes makes me to start with Lyte Byte but still loaded with work…hopefully will start it back again soon….

Hello,
Great forum!
I found a lot of interesting information here.
Does this forum helpful for you also?

Hi there,
Interesting site. I came looking for a top commenters widget for blogger, but no luck.
I don’t know how much effect it has on my reader numbers how often I post (I normally post about 5 times a week) but I have noticed I get more comments if I post every other day than every day. I think if people only check out your blog every other day and they see two posts, they only tend to comment on one of them.
Thanks,
Guilty
