Samsung Galaxy A7 with 5.5 inch Display, Octa Core Processor and 4G LTE goes Official

Towards the end of last year Samsung had announced Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, mid range phone and they were released in India last week. Now the company has announced yet another phone in the A series, the Samsung Galaxy A7. The new device comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280 X 720P). The device comes in two variants, the single SIM with 4G LTE support and it is powered by Exynos 5430 SoC and the dual SIM variant is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 again supports 4G LTE in selected markets.

The devices runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung’s Touchwiz UI on top of it. The phone is 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

On the imaging front the device has the 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front acing camera. The device is also pretty slim at 6.3mm and there is 2600mAh battery.

Price and Availability:

The device comes in Black, White and Gold colors, but there is no mention on the pricing of the device. Samsung mentions the pricing to be competitive when it will go on sale in first quarter of 2015. We are sure that this device will come to India as well just like A3 and A5 and expect a pricing close to Rs 35000 when it releases in India.
