Color OS 7- Oppo and Realme Devices Getting the new OS

Oppo has announced the latest version of Color OS in China. The new custom UI developed by Oppo is basically on top of Color OS 6 which made the design even more simple. The Color OS 7 has a slightly revampled UI with better design and clutter free UI. With Color OS 7, Oppo is looking for a more minimalistic UI. Oppo has also launched a new font called OPPO Sans font which will be the design language of the OS. The new OS will be rolled out to a lot of Oppo and Realme devices.

Realme, a sub-brand of Oppo even though it operates separately, also uses the Color OS on their devices. Realme will have a slightly modified version of Color OS and the devices will be getting the updates in 2020 only. So, if you are using an Oppo or Realme smartphone, here is the list of phones that will be getting the Color OS 7 along with the timelines planned.

Realme Phones Rollout Timeline:

  • February 2020 – Realme X, Realme X Lite
  • March 2020 – Realme Q
  • April 2020 – Realme X2, Realme X2 Pro

Color OS is slated to officially launch in India on November 26th and if you are using an Oppo or Realme phone, you can check the timeline of getting the update. A notable omission in the list is Oppo F11 Pro which was announced few months back.
