Xiaomi has announced their latest smartphone in India, the Redmi Note 8 Pro with Quad Rear cameras and Android 9.0. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is a powerful device and it priced at Rs 14,999 and it comes with Helio G90T processor with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage included. One of the most important things people want to know is whether the device supports GCam or Google Camera apk to be installed on the device. The GCam or Google Camera app has been providing best camera experience for non-pixel devices and one of the best camera apps. It is not compatible with all phones, so let’s see how to install GCam on Redmi Note 8 Pro.

install GCam on Redmi Note 8 Pro

Install Google Camera on Redmi Note 8 Pro:

Step 1: Download the GCam APK on your Redmi Note 8 Pro from this link.

Step 2: Connect your Note 8 Pro to PC in case you are downloading from PC and transfer the file to any folder. If you are downloading directly from the phone, open the File manager and select the file you downloaded or copied to the device.

Step 3: Click on the apk to install it and you might have to grant the necessary permissions to install APKs on your device.

Step 4: Once installed, open the Google Camera app and start using it by granting permissions.

So this is the simple process to install Google Camera on Redmi Note 8 Pro. If you are a person who likes GCam builds, this is how it has to be done.

Important things to Note:

Currently, the builds available do not support all the features in the Google camera or GCam. Here is the list of features which do not work on Redmi Note 8 pro:

1. Night mode

2. Portrait (front and rear)

The build works well with the regular camera shots along with selfies and video recording which is available at 4K UHD.

I would like to assure you that Redmi phone is not good at all for more reasons.
Now I am using Redmi Note8 Pro and be for was Redmi 6 and Oxami A3. Their very bad problems are
    1. Every time need updates if you do not early it turn off alone and delete all what have in it that too bad.
    2. It’s camera very bad.
When you bought it new it’s looks like it is the best camera in all android phone.
But after one 1 year or even after six 6 months with no updates will understand that you a weak phone.
When it reached 18 months this im will like a car with out head light. It’s camera cannot capture even in a distance of 6 feet a clear photo.
Now I have informed all my relatives no to buy I’m mobile phone again even with the less money and I going to post it in Facebook to all my friends to know so they should west their money keep suffering as I am suffering in my work place.
The phone is still looking new but with a weak camera
    3. Languages. More Chinese Language and a little English language.
    Apps: only Chinese Applications.
