One of the trends in smartphones in 2017 was the 18:9 displays. Samsung launched the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus with 18:9 displays in the first half of 2017 and we saw a lot of smartphones in the mid-range and also in budget segment sporting the 18:9 displays. 18:9 aspect ratio display or full view displays gives users more screen space in compact form factor. It has a dual camera set up with 13MP and 5MP combination and an 8MP front camera. It also packs a 4000mAh battery and Android Nougat out of the box. 2. Micromax Canvas Infinity:

Micromax Canvas Infinity is probably the first smartphone with 18:9 display below Rs 10000 in India and it comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ resolution display. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 425 Quad-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and has Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box. It sports a 13MP rear camera with F/2.0 and LED flash and a front 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 and front-facing flash. There is also a 2900mAh battery included.

3. Honor 7X:

Honor 7X is the latest entrant to the 18:9 display and features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by Kirin 659 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and comes in both 32GB and 64GB variants. It packs a 16MP + 2MP dual camera and an 8MP front camera. The phone runs on Android 7.0 with EMUI 5.1 out of the box and has a 3340mAh battery. The phone is one of the best in terms of camera department in the price segment.

LG Q6 is probably the first smartphone with 18:9 display below Rs 20000 in India and has a 5.5 inch Full HD+ resolution display and is powered by Snapdragon 435 Octa core processor with 3GB RAM. It also packs 32GB storage along with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The phone has 3000mAh battery and currently available for Rs 13,999.

5. Gionee M7 Power:

Gionee M7 Power is the latest smartphone from Gionee with 18:9 display and it comes with 6.0-inch HD+ resolution display and is powered by Snapdragon 435 Octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Vivo V7 and V7+ are quite similar except for the display size.     Honor 9i is the best choice under the 25,000rs category. The only issue is with their EMUI, other than they are highly reliable

        I used Honor 6 and their EMUI when compared with other UI it is really poor. The updates for the phone reach very slowly. But their phones are highly reliable and thinking of checking Honor View 10. Only thing stops me is the UI 🙁 [I know we get used to it..but MIUI is far better]
