Qualcomm’s Quick Charge feature is now getting more and more popular and we are seeing a lot of new devices getting the quick charge feature. While the latest version of Quick Charge is 3.0, there are a lot of devices in the mid-range category with Quick Charge 2.0.

We have been testing a USB Hub to charge smartphones and it is from Tronsmart and called Titan UC5F USB Hub. Here is the review of this USB Hub.

Design and Build:

Design-wise, the Titan is a simple and yet decent looking USB charging hub with 5 ports. It comes in a standard rectangular utilitarian design which is compact to use. The front panel has 5 USB ports while the rear section has the port for power cord and a switch to turn it on. The top panel has the logo and an LED light to check if it is charging. The ports are placed wide enough so that the cables won’t interfere with one another. The USB ports are colored in green because of the QC 2.0 feature. Below the USB hub you have 4 small rubber feet which make the charger stay on the desk firmly.

The build quality of the hub is very good and comes with great finishing. It has a matte finish on the top panel while the sides are glossy finished.

Performance:

The USB hub comes with 5 Quick charger 3.0 compatible ports. The ports have a total of 90W, maximum 18W for each port. It is a powerful desktop USB charger if you use multiple devices. The performance of the hub is very good and charges the phones with QC 2.0 three times faster than normal charging. If your phone does not have QC 2.0 support, you can still charge the device using this hub.

The good feature of Tronsmart chargers is the patented VoltIQ smart detective technology, which offers quicker charging speed for most other devices.

Since the charger is built with all the industry grade materials and safety measures, it has protection for over-current, overcharging and overheating for safe and fast charging.

Verdict:

With good build quality and moderate size, the Tronsmart Titan USB hub is one of the best solutions for charging multiple devices which supports Quick Charge 2.0. The charger comes with 5 ports which make it, even more, better than most of the other desktop chargers. It is probably one of the best QC 2.0 supported desktop charging station you can buy.

If you are looking for a charging hub for your desktop, this is highly recommended. You can buy it from here.
