CREO had revealed their smartphone Mark 1 early last month. The company is promising monthly updates for the Android OS making the device feel like a new phone every month. Today, the company has announced the Mark 1 in India. The Mark 1 comes with a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels (~534 ppi pixel density). It will be powered by a Tru Octa-Core MediaTek (Helio X10) Chipset clocked at 1.95Ghz and it is coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The phone also comes with 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card to 128GB.
The phone comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and it has the Fuel OS which is the custom OS from the company and it promises new updates every month. The Creo Mark 1 comes with Sense, which lets you search for anything by simply double tapping the home button. The OS can index anything that is available on the phone and get anything searched using this feature.
On the camera front, it comes with 21MP camera with Sony Sensor and it can record 4K videos. There is also slow motion recording at 120fps in Full HD resolution. There is also a front-facing 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone has some unique features and one of them is the Echo feature. The phone acts as an answering machine and sends an automated message. You can also record a voice message in case the call is not picked up. This works on all carriers in India. This feature is available free of cost and does not have ay operator billing. The voice messages recorded are kept on your phone.
The phone comes with a 3100mAh battery with fast charging. On the connectivity front, it has dual SIM with 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. The phone comes with a new feature called Retriever. This feature allows you to retrieve your lost or stolen phone. It sends an email when a new SIM is inserted in the device along with the phone number of the new SIM card.
The company currently has 106 service centers in 96 cities across India. They will be expanding to 300 service centers in 150 cities soon.
The device is priced Rs 19,999 and is available on Flipkart.
