We have seen quite a lot of companies launching the activity trackers in India, but most of them are expensive except for a few ones like the popular Xiaomi Mi Band or the YuFit. Now, another Indian based mobile OEM, Intex has announced an affordable activity and sleep tracker called FitRist.

Unlike Xiaomi’s Mi Band, the FitRist comes with a 0.86 inch OLED display and can track your activity and sleep.

It also come with a button alongside the display to control it. Similar to other bands, the FitRist band  can connect to Android and iOS using Bluetooth. The band can track your steps, distance traveled, calories burnt and monitor quality of sleep. There is also notifications for incoming calls and users can control music and use it as a remote shutter for the phone’s camera.

The company says that the band has a battery life of around 12 days and is also water-resistant and splash proof to prevent it from accidental spills or rain.

The most important aspect of fitness bands is the accuracy and Mi band has been quite popular for its accuracy although it does not come with a display. We have to check out the FitRist to see how good the band is before commenting on the performance. The addition of display and the pricing is quite good and makes it the best available affordable band right now in India.

Intex FitRist is priced Rs 999 and comes in Dark Blue and White colors. The band will be available exclusive to Snapdeal.
