LeTv has recently rebranded itself to LeEco and today the company has announced its entry into India with two devices. LeEco has launched Le Max and Le 1s smartphones in India. The company entered into smartphone market last year in China and so far has launched 4 devices in China.
Le Max is the flagship phone which was first announced in April last year and comes with a 6.33-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display and is powered by Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The device comes with 64GB or 128GB internal storage option. On the imaging front, the phone packs a 21MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, Sony IMX230 sensor, dual-LED flash, and a f/2.0 aperture lens, alongside a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. On the connectivity front, it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with hotspot support, Bluetooth 4.1 with APT-X support, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE. Other features include infra-red remote control, electronic compass, hall sensors, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. The battery capacity is at 3400mAh along with USB C Type port.
On the other hand, the Le 1s is a mid-range phone and comes with 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display and powered by 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, and supports dual-SIM (Micro + Nano-SIM).
The device comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and a 5MP front-facing camera. It also has a fingerprint scanner located on the rear panel. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB C type charging, and 4G LTE. The Le 1s packs a 3000mAh battery.
Both the phones come with Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI 5.5 UI.
Pricing and Availability:
The Le Max is priced Rs 32,999 for the 64GB variant and it comes in Gold (128GB) and Silver (64GB) colors, while the Le 1s is priced Rs 10,999. Both the devices are available exclusive to Flipkart and Le 1S will be available on February 2nd while Le Max will be available on February 16th..
The 128GB Saffire edition is priced Rs 69999.
