Obi Worldphone SF1 Launched in India Starting Rs 11,999

Obi Mobiles had rebranded as Obi Worldphone and had launched the SF1 back in October in San Francisco. Today, the company announced the availability of SF1 in India. The phone is designed by Ammunition, the San Francisco based design firm and comes with impressive design.

The phone comes with a 5 inch Full HD raised display along with Corning Gorilla-4 display on top of it. Raised display provides added protection from drops and falls. The phone has fiberglass body and metal accents at top and bottom. The device is powered by Snapdragon 615 Octa core chipset.

The phone comes in two variants, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and also 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with the Obi Lifespeed UI and also comes with micro SD card for expanding the memory.

On the imaging front, the phone has 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 Exmor sensor and LED flash. There is also a 3000mAh battery included in the device. The phone comes with 4G LTE support.

John Sculley, Obi Worldphone co-founder and former head of Apple Inc. and Pepsi-Cola, said,

Pricing and Availability:

The 2GB RAM and 16GB variant is priced Rs 11,999 while the 3GB RAM and 32GB variant is priced Rs 13,999. The phone will be available starting Dec 7th on Gadgets360 portal.
