Google had released the final version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow couple of months back and OEMs are busy developing the builds for their flagship devices. ASUS has been pretty aggressive in the smartphone segment with some great devices including the Zenfone 2, Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie and Zenfone 2 Laser. These phones were pretty popular in countries where they have been released.
Now the company has announced the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update plans and also revealed the devices which will be getting the update.
Here is the list of phones getting Android 6.0
- PadFoneS (PF500KL)
- ZenFone2 (ZE550ML/ZE551ML)
- ZenFone2 Deluxe / Special Edition (ZE551ML)
- ZenFone2 Laser (ZE500KG/ZE500KL/ZE550KL/ZE600KL/ZE601KL)
- ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL)
This list includes phones released in 2015 and previous year’s Zenfone 4, 5 and 6 will not be getting the update. As of now company has not shared any dates for the release, we can expect it in January or February going by previous track record of ASUS.
