Google released their latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop back in October 2014, but still a major percentage of phones released in the budget segment run Android KitKat. Some of the new device releasing this year have the promised update to Lollipop. But at the same time, there are some good devices which runs Android Lollipop out of the box. These new devices are not just limited to high end or flagship category, but also the budget segment.

Here is a list of best Android phones with Android 5.0 Lollipop and below Rs 7000 in India.

Micromax Canvas Spark

Micromax Canvas Spark comes with a 4.7 inch qHD display which has a resolution of 960 X 540 pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for preventing scratches. The device runs on a 1.3-Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and features 1GB RAM. There is 8 GB internal storage space of which around 4.10 GB is available for use. There is also microSD slot for expanding the memory. The phone comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a 2000 mAh battery. Spec wise, there are lot of similarities with the Redmi 2, but the latter is powered by better processor and also comes with 4G LTE support. The device is priced Rs 4999.

Xolo Era was recently launched and the device sports a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs Android 4.4 (Kit Kat). On the camera end it features 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera.It has 1GB RAM and  8GB internal memory which is expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD. The device supports Dual SIM and connectivity features include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. It also packs 2100mAh battery. The Xolo Era is available in Black color and comes with a pricetag of Rs. 4,444.

The Fire 4 comes with 4.5 inch FWVGA Display and is powered by a Quad core processor with 1GB RAM. The processor is from Mediatek .It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.  There is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the device.Phone comes up with 8MP rear shooter and 2MP selfie shooter. Also phone come up with dual led flash which helps you to click pictures in low light. The device is priced Rs. 6,310.

Micromax has launched the Micromax Canvas A1 (AQ4502) with 8GB of internal storage. The device runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box and these are the prime difference in Specification when compared to the  last year’s Micromax Canvas A1 (AQ4501). The device sports 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-400 GPU.
