Microsoft had announced the Lumia 435 and the Lumia 532 last month and now they have released both the devices in India. The Lumia 435 was announced last week and we already covered the hands of the device along with unboxing. Now we have the Lumia 532 which was released yesterday in India for Rs 6499. Lumia 532 comes with a 4 inch WVGA display and is powered by 1.2Ghz Quad core Snapdragron 200 processor with 1GB RAM. There is also 8GB internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card to 128GB.

On the imaging front it has a 5MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera. It also has the latest Windows Phone 8.1, the Lumia Denim Update, Microsoft’s Office suite, Outlook for email, seamless Skype integration and front-facing camera for Skype video calling, HERE location services, up to 30GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive.

Design wise, the Lumia 532 resembles like the Asha series phones with a glossy finish around the sides. The device has a matte finish rear panel and exhibits great quality. The power and volume keys are on the right side and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top. The micro USB charging slot is at the bottom. The rear panel houses the 5MP camera, speakers and also the Microsoft logo.

The front panel has the 4 inch WVGA display and the three capacitive touch buttons. The recent Lumia phones have had on screen buttons and Microsoft is now back to touch buttons on Lumia 532. Overall, the build quality, fit and finish looks really good and the device feels solid in hands especially with the glossy finish on the sides.

The 4 inch WVGA display although has low resolution (480 X 800), it does look vibrant and colorful. The touch response is excellent on the display. The Lumia 535 has an issue with touch, but Lumia 532 is good with the touch response. The phone also has glance screen and double tap to wake feature. The phone has dual SIM card support and also microSD for expanding the storage. There is also 1560mAh battery included which is removable.

The phone is powered by 1.2Ghz Quad core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, out of which close to 4.5GB is available to the user on first boot. You can expand the storage and also install apps directly on the SD card. The performance was good on the device and did not have any lags in the first use.

The device is priced Rs 5999 and available on Flipkart. We will have the detailed review coming up on our blog soon, meanwhile do check out our YouTube channel for more videos on this device.
