The Gionee M2 sports a 5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor with Mali-400 GPU and  runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. The smartphone has an 8 MP primary rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP secondary front camera. It has 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage which is can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
