At the CES 2015, HP has announced ultra cheap Windows PCs called Stream mini and Pavilion Mini. The Stream Mini is a competitor to the Chrome book and works mainly with cloud storage. HP Stream Mini is powered by an Intel Celeron processor with 2GB of RAM and the Stream Mini has 32GB of solid-state storage, and comes with 200GB of OneDrive storage for two years. It also comes with a $25 credit to buy apps and software from the Windows Store.
The Stream Mini will come with Windows 8.1 with Bing and also have the ability to connect a second monitor to the PC. The device comes in blue color and the chassis is made of plastics.

The Pavilion Mini is a full fledged Windows 8.1 PC and it is powered by an Intel Pentium or Core i3 processor. Users will be able to configure it up to 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The desktop also boasts both DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, and it’s able to drive two monitors. Important aspect of these mini PCs is that it consumes only 45 watts of power unlike the normal desktop which uses 250 watts.

Both models will be available on Jan. 14. The Pavilion Mini costs $319.99 for a Pentium model with 4GB of RAM and 500GB of hard-disk storage, while the Stream Mini starts at $179.99 for a model with 2GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD.
