The device comes with a 5 inch HD display and looks pretty good. Design wise, the device is pretty decent and employs good quality materials. The front panel has the 5 inch display and below that you can find the three capacitive touch buttons, which offer haptic feedback, but there are not backlit. Above the display there is the 2MP camera and the usual set of sensors.

There is a chrome finish around the bezel which gives a premium feel. The power and volume keys are located on the right side and they also have the chrome finishing. Micro USB charging slot is at the bottom while 3.5mm audio jack is at the top.

The rear panel houses the 8MP camera with LED flash and it has a matte finish. The material quality is really good. The speakers are located at the bottom. The rear panel is removable and inside it sits the massive non-removable 5000mAh battery. The phone also supports dual SIM cards and micro SD card.

The device is pretty heavy as it has the massive battery. The overall fit and finish and quality of materials used is really good.

The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and has 1GB RAM, and in the first boot we saw that it has 50% free RAM available. The storage is at 8GB and there is 5GB free space available. You can also expand it via microSD Card. Gionee has customized the software and has added themes to customize the look and feel.
