Best Camera Smartphones

1. Nokia Pureview 808:

Although as a smartphone, Pureview 808 does not excel as it runs Symbian OS, it excels in the camera department. The 41MP pureview camera is one of the best we have seen on a smartphone. Nokia PureView Pro imaging technology is the combination of a large, super high resolution 41Mpix with high performance Carl Zeiss optics. The large sensor enables pixel oversampling, which will be explained in detail in this paper but in a nutshell it means the combination of many pixels into one perfect pixel. PureView imaging technology is the result of many years of research and development and the tangible fruits of this work are amazing image quality, lossless zoom, and superior low light performance. Although this phone isn’t worth an investment at this stage, if you are a photographer and get it at a discounted price, you could try it.

Nokia Lumia 920 is the flagship phone from Nokia running the latest Windows Phone 8. Although the phone does not feature the complete features from the PureView, it does inherit many of the features including excellent low light performance. The 8.7 MP camera on Lumia 920 is one of the best on current list of smartphones. Related: Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8

4. iPhone 5:

iPhone has been one of the most popular device on Flickr because of its camera. The iSight camera on the iPhone 5 has been tweaked, but not quite as much as other features. The 8-megapixel camera has a new sapphire-crystal lens, and improved hardware enabling features like dynamic low-lighting adjustment, image stabilization on the 1080p video camera, and the capability to take still shots while shooting video.

5. Sony Xperia T:

Sony Xperia T comes with a 13MP camera. Xperia T comes with the Sony Exmor R sensor for improving photos in low light conditions. Xperia T is capable of taking some pretty good pictures, although higher mega pixels doesn’t always mean great camera. Xperia T comes with a dedicated camera button so it will be easy to open up the camera application and you won’t have to use an onscreen button to take photos.
