Gionee has been launching some stunning slim phones in their S- Series (S5.5 and S5.1) and the company announced their flagship device, the Elife S7 at the MWC 2015. The Elife S7 packs great hardware in a stunning design and great build quality.
The phone comes with a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution and is powered by the 1.7GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor with 2GB of RAM. Similar to Elife S5.1, the phone comes with 16GB of storage and being slim means there is no microSD card support.
On the camera front, the device comes with a 13-megapixel camera rear camera with flash and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, dual SIM slot, LTE support and Bluetooth 4.0.
The good thing is that Gionee has improved the battery capacity on the device to 2,700 mAh battery and it runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Similar to other devices, it has the custom UI from the company called the Amigo OS 3.0. While the phone is just 5.5 mm thin, it is still not the slimmest phone as it goes to Vivo X5 Max.
The phone is made of great quality material to prevent bending as it is ultra slim. Previous slim phones from Gionee only featured single SIM card, but this time Gionee has included dual SIM card slots in the device, but microSD card is missing out.
The device was launched in India today and it is priced Rs 24999. The device will be available at online and retails stores soon.
