Microsoft had announced the new Windows Phone 8 with new features including a new start screen. Although Windows Phone 7 users will not be getting the entire update, they will still get the start screen. But this update might take time to roll out. But in the mean time, you can try out the new start screen from Windows Phone 8 on Windows Phone 7. W Phone 8 is a freeware app which is a very realistic simulation of the new start screen.
