Google Nexus 7 is the new tablet announced by Google at the I/O conference. The Nexus 7 is a 7inch tablet running Android Jelly Bean or 4.1. When the tablet was announced, Google had priced it at $200 and it was available only in US. Although Nexus 7 is not officially released in India, but you can still order it online. Google’s price of $200 approximately converts to 11000 INR, but as of now Nexus 7 is not available at this price as the tablet is imported from US.
Indiatimes is selling the 8GB version of Nexus 7 at 16952 INR and available for purchase from here. The shipping is free of cost and takes approx 15 days and the seller also promises one year manufacturer’s warranty.
Another ecommerce store from India, Tradus has also listed Nexus 7 tablet. It is offering for 16990 INR for 8GB version and 16GB for 22500 INR. This one also comes with 1 year warranty and the seller is cart2india. Tradus mentions that product will be dispatched in 5 days.
eBay is also selling Nexus 7 tablet for 17490 INR and the seller is again cart2India. There is also 16GB version for 21690 INR.
Update: As per a Twitter discussion, it seems warranty is not available in India as per ASUS.
