If you are travelling, then probably the best way to catch up with all the live action is using smartphones. BBC has released a new smartphone app, available for iPad, iPhone and Android phones, which allows users to watch the games live on their phone.
The app features live coverage of the games as well as on-demand, both of which can be accessed via 3G or Wi-Fi. There’s also live commentary, schedules, medal counts, highlights, and also comes with separate page for each country, event and also athletes.
The BBC Olympics app is available on iOS versions 5.0+ and for Android 2.2 and above. Flash must also be installed to watch the live video and highlights on Android.
