Windows Phone 7, the latest mobile OS from Microsoft has Internet Explorer as the default web browser. Just like any mobile web browser, IE also renders websites based on mobile versions (if available). But sometimes, switching to mobile version of any website might not be good as desktop versions might have better features. There are several websites which are optimized for iPad and iPhone and in such cases users of Windows Phone 7 will not be able to use such features. User Agent Switcher is a free app for WP7 which allows you to switch the browser user agent.
User Agents are software which identifies itself when you browse the website and based on the user agent, website actually loads. With this free app, you can actually change the browser user agent on WP7.

Just install and run the app, from the settings you can choose the user agent you would like to have the website rendered in. The app has WP7, iPhone, iPad, Android, IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Googlebot available as user agents.
The app is very useful when a particular website has a unique design for a certain user agent and you would like to try it on Windows Phone.
The app is free of cost and available for download from the marketplace.
