Nokia Launches its First Windows Phone 7 in India

As mentioned by us previously, Nokia has launched its first smartphone powered by Windows Phone 7 (Mango). Nokia has announced the availability of Lumia phones powered by WP7 OS. These phones were announced globally few weeks back and Nokia is pretty fast to enter the Indian market unlike players like iPhone which takes months to launch the latest phones in India. Nokia has launched two devices running Mango, Lumia 800 and 710. Nokia Lumia 800 comes with a 3.7 inch AMOLED screen, with 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor and 512 MB RAM.

Nokia Lumia 700 on the other hand has same processor and RAM, but comes with a TFT screen, 8GB memory and also 5MP camera unlike 8MP camera on Lumia 800.

Although both the phones have been announced by Nokia, the official pricing isn’t out as of now. We expect Nokia Lumia 800 to be priced somewhere between 26000 and 29000 INR and the Lumia 710 to be priced around 19000- 20000INR. We will update the post when we have more details on the price.
