Nokia to Launch Lumia in India on Nov 14

Nokia has announced the new smartphones running the Windows Phone 7.5 OS few weeks back and now Nokia is launching these phones in the Indian market on Nov 14th. Considering that most of the popular smartphones like Nexus and iPhone arrive late in India, this one from Nokia is pretty fast to enter the Indian market. Nokia Lumia series currently features two phones, the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710. Both of the handsets run the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. At this point we are not sure of the prices of these handsets, but expect a competitive pricing as Nokia might want to capture the India market once again.

The launch will happen in Delhi on November 14th at 11:30 AM. The Nokia Lumia 800 comes with a 3.7 inch touchscreen, 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor, 512MB RAM and 8MP camera while the Lumia 710 features a 1.4GHz processor, a 3.7-inch WVGA display, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a 5.0 MP camera.
