Review and Giveaway- Readdledocs for iPad

Readdledocs for iPad is one of the popular and extremely useful document viewer and also file manager app for iPad. It comes with a host of features including connecting to your cloud storage and also has a very neat interface and is easy to use. Readdledocs  catches documents from any source including PC or Mac computers, web sites, email attachments, iDisk, Dropbox and other online file storages like Google Docs and even iPhones. All files are saved to your iPad locally so you can enjoy reading them anywhere. You can also manage the files by creating folders and sorting them based on various parameters. Once you install the app, the first step is to configure your cloud storage, so that your files are available locally on the iPad. The app provides you with option to connect to popular cloud servcies like Dropbox, Google Docs, SugarSync or even FTP or SFTP drives etc.

Readdle Docs

Once you have connected, you can view all the files under the documents tab. ReaddleDocs’ built-in viewer supports PDF, MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and Apple iWork files. It can also view Open Office Writer files. It also comes included with a MP3 player so that you can play your audio files using the app.

The interface provides option to sort files by name, size, data, type etc and also create folders for file management. You can also highlight text inside PDF files in several colors, make notes at any place in the document and save these changes which are compatible with desktop PDF readers.

Under the settings menu, there are many options available including passkey lock and full text search. You can also fetch attachments in your email accounts directly into the app.

    Wow! I think a ‘thank you’ would never be enough as this is a very useful tool indeed. Having purchased the iPhone version, I am impress with the FTP features, document management and PDF viewers and this will be helpful as well on the iPad version as I am using iPad 2 now. No doubt this will certainly boost my current work process.
