The rising popularity of Google’s latest social networking service, Google+ has made developers build new apps based on it. We have already covered many extensions for Google Chrome based on Google+. Google+ Notifier is a freeware tool for Windows which notifiers users of new notification in your Google+ account. This is very useful if you want to keep track of all your Google+ notifications without having to open the browser.
The app is portable and you can unzip the files and run the exe file. You need to login with your Google+ account and once authenticated, you can see the app sits in the system tray and notifies you of new updates. Although at this point there is no option to see what update is available unless you login to browser version.
