Office 2010 SP1 Coming in June

Office 2010 which was released last year will soon have its final version of Service Pack by June end (2011). Users running Office 2010 RTM will be able to download and install the latest update by next month end as per the news. Microsoft will also be releasing the update through Windows update later. Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) will contain updates that improve stability, performance and security as per Microsoft.

SP1 will consist of minor updates, including all public updates through June 2011 and all cumulative updates through April 2011, in addition to some previously unreleased fixes that were made specifically for this service pack.

There will not be any new feature added to Office 2010 via the service pack.
