Microsoft has released the first platform preview of the next version of Internet Explorer, IE10. IE10 Platform Preview is available for download and comes with more features. Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview 1 is the first public preview of the IE10 web platform. In this release, the new features which are showcasing are support for CSS3 Flexbox, CSS3 Grid Alignment, CSS3 Multi-column, CSS3 Gradients on background-images and ECMAScript5 Strict Mode.

The Internet Explorer Platform Preview requires Windows 7 (x86 or x64). There are also rumours that IE10 will be shipping with the next generation Windows 8. As with the IE9 platform previews, this version also does not have a UI and you can only open one website at a time.
With the beta version of Windows 8 coming up later this year or early 2012, we can expect a full fledged build of IE10 included.
You can download the IE10 platform preview from IE Test Drive site.
