Use Yahoo Mail to Access Facebook and Twitter

Yahoo has announced the new redesigned Yahoo Mail which is supposedly twice as fast as the previous version. The new interface is indeed very neatly done with clear navigation and use of tabs. Another good feature in the new mail is the integration of social networking sites. You can add Facebook and Twitter to Yahoo account which means you can get all the updates right inside Yahoo Mail. Apart from this, you can also post updates to these social sites.

To add Facebook and Twitter, you can directly do this from your Yahoo mail, “What’s New” tab or open the Yahoo Pulse page here- http://pulse.yahoo.com/y/cred_store. You need to sign in to your account and provide permission to access it from Yahoo mail.

Once you have linked the accounts, just refresh your email and you can see the updates from the connected services. You can also update your status from the email.

Yahoo Mail has definitely done a nice job with their new redesign and social network connectivity should make it once again popular.
