Music piracy has been a major issue for Indian entertainment industry and to combat this, Google has launched Google Music service where you can listen to latest Bollywood songs. Google has partnered with three digital music providers (in.com, saavn and saregama) who together have the rights to hundreds of thousands of Indian tracks, from Bollywood hits to Indian classical tunes. The Google Music service is available from Friday and will eventually integrate it into its main search page.

Google Music India

When you select any movie from the list, it shows the songs available and when you click them, a pop-up music player will launch the song and the song will be streamed for free.

As of now only Hindi songs are available, but in future we might see other Indian languages as well. Apart from the Google Music page, when you search for a song in Google, it will show results from the partners instead of the piracy download links. This way, Google plans to combat piracy in music industry.
