Previously we had written about the integration of Facebook Chat in Windows Live Messenger 2011 and this enables you to chat with all your Facebook friends easily though messenger. But having said that, sometimes Facebook Chat might be annoying if you have too many friends connected with Facebook. Good thing is that you can disable Facebook Chat any time you want easily from the Windows Live Messenger.
To disable Facebook chat, click on your name in Windows Live Messenger 2011 and this will open the drop down menu. Here you can uncheck the option “Facebook Chat” and this will disable the chat. Windows Live messenger will still continue to work the same way.
And in case you want to enable it, just check the same option.
