Facebook Chat in Windows Live Messenger 2011

Windows Live Essentials 2011 final version was released yesterday we have already shared the download links. One of the major changes to Windows Live Messenger 2010 is the availablility of Facebook Chat right inside messenger (available only for selected countries). You can easily connect with your Facebook friends in messenger, get the latest updates from them as well as chat with them easily using the messenger interface.

Once you have connected with your friends in Windows Live Messenger, you can easily chat with them just like your contacts in Windows Live. The online contacts from Facebook will be available in different category (under Facebook) and you can right click (or double click) any contact and select “Send IM (Facebook)”.

The chat window is similar to the other chat with few options disabled. Facebook Chat is now also available to Canada, Australia, Holland, Italy, India and Turkey in Windows Live Messenger.
