How to Block FarmVille, Mafia Wars and Other Games in Facebook

Facebook has grown as one of the best social networking sites and so is FarmVille. The number of users playing the popular game for Facebook has been increase continuously. But not all people like the updates sent out by FarmVille in Facebook feed which might be annoying for many people. The best way to keep out of these updates is to hide them or block them in your Facebook account.

To block FarmVille, Mafia Wars and other games in Facebook, first log into your Facebook account and check for any recent updates from FarmVille in your most recent Facebook News feed. Hover the mouse over the FarmVille update and you can see a hide button on the top right corner of the update.

When you click this button, it will show a pop up box where you can hide updates from this friend or from FarmVille completely. Click on Hide FarmVille button.

This will hide updates from FarmVille posted by your friends. In case you want to block the application completely and prevent friends from inviting you to this game, open FarmVille application page and click on the Block Application link.

Confirm that you want to block the application.

Now on you will not receive any updates from FarmVille. Please note you can do the same procedure for all other games like Mafia wars in Facebook.
