I am currently using free Avast because i cannot afford to buy professional AV software. I need to protect and keep my pc safe with a comprehensive and reliable security program like Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. It has all the features like AV, Firewall, etc that i need and i just need to simply install and let it run. As I install programs frequently, the Run Safe Mode feature is one of the best features i like.

Also it scores among highest on other antivirus and security testings.

1.why I need KIS:- kaspersky internet security 2010 is a advanced internet security software…the latest version is 9.0.0.736…it works fine in windows 7…it has dual firewall..sandbox feature..,,proactive defense,rescue disk option…anti spam,anti banner,IM protection,software vulnerability scan…so,i see this KIS2010 as an all in one security..so,it is easy to use one security software with all the essential features other installing diffrent security softwares for each & every security method..(anti malware,anti spam,firewall,..etc)…

Currently I am using Avast free + Windows Firewall for my computer protection. It is just basic protection. I need comprehensive protection against today’s threat land. I have previously used KIS 30 days trial, but can’t afford it (student). I always seek for KIS 2010, but never was able to win a free license. Please, do not disappoint me this time and give me one-year license to better protect my computer.

My name is Bogdan Zyryanov. I am a student of the journalism department of the Moscow State University and cannot afford a license myself. And yet, being confident about my PC’s safety is crucial for me since all my work – web research, headline analysis and article creation – is done on the computer.
Over the last five years or so I have had a chance to try out a dozen of security software titles: avast, AVG, Avira, A-squared, Symantec Norton, McAfee, Panda Internet Security 2010, Panda Cloud Antivirus, ESET Smart Security 4, Dr. Web and, finally, Kaspersky Internet Security. I loved it from version 2009 when the program core had been rebuilt from scratch resulting in a significant performance boost. Incredibly, it did not affect the protection quality at all! Kaspersky remains the best among its competitors at preventing malware infection, advanced malware cleaning and analizing vulnerabilities.
While version 2010 introduced many innovative features, there is one I am particularly fond of: it’s Sandboxing. Unfortunately, the limited KIS version I’m using now (special ComputerBild edition) does not offer this feature. Also, the limited version is hard to configure, particularly its application control rules are impossible to change. All this combined results in significantly lowering the PC’s defenses.
I am hoping to earn one of the licenses because it would help me focus on my work more without having to worry about the security of my laptop’s virtual system.

Actually I need the KIS 2010 because work often connected to the Internet, and besides, my PC on the network. This antivirus is simply the best I’ve heard talk because it holds all the virtual security guards that are necessary for those who work directly online.

The best features of KIS 2010 are: Good detections with almost zero false positives (current VB100 award), better firewall with intrusion detection, application rights management, and sandbox for safe browsing. I simply love this software, but can’t afford to buy it.
