Facebook is growing rapidly and has now become one of the best social networks out there. We have already covered various tips and tutorials on Facebook. Like any other social networking sites, Facebook profiles are also visible to users who search on all popular search engines and also within Facebook. If you want to hide your profile from both these searches, you can change the privacy settings.
Log into your Facebook account and on the right hand corner, select Account-> Privacy Settings.
In the privacy settings, click on the Search settings.
Here you can see two options, one is to block your Facebook profile in Facebook search and second one is to block your profile from appearing in search engines.
You can uncheck the Allow box to prevent your profile from appearing from search engines.
