Continuing our birthday celebrations, we are starting off our third giveaway- Camtasia Studio Version 7 license.  Camtasia Studio is a well known and professional screen recorder and video editing tool for Windows. With Camtasia, you record onscreen activity, edit into a professional screencast video and then share it anywhere. With Camtasia Studio’s flexible recording options, you can choose to capture full screen, window or region. Add in music tracks, microphone, your computer’s audio plus picture-in-picture with your video camera, and you’ve got a world-class screencast.

    I need this software because I teach online classes to adult learners. The ability to easily turn a PowerPoint into an audio lecture and add screen shots, pictures, etc. would be a tremendous boon.

    Big thanks for this giveaway. Please count me in.

    Being Tester by profession, my work involves also making video tutorials. Having Camtasia Studio will make my job easier and better, as now I completely reply on free tools – which don’t provide better quality & functionality like Camtasia Studio.

    Camtasia have added 10 new features to their latest version 7.0.0 – released 30 March 2010.

    Features like Smart Focus, Callouts, Cursor effects, support for different saving formats for recorded video [MP4/FLV/SWF], watermarking, support for different audio recording, availability of free library content makes job easier & consistent – creating Good Impression – on Boss!!

    Camtasia provides a good learning content on their site for their software -which make it easy to use, even for a novice/first-timer.

    I would never be able to buy this software, given a huge price of $300 & my company doesn’t supports buying it.

    Having this great tool would increase my chances of getting promotion also..!!

    Great opportunity here, you always have good advice for windows users.
    I would like this program because I work in the IT dept at a small rural hospital and am always creating how-to’s for the staff members and to be able to show them visually would we a great advantage to those who are a little less than computer literate.

    Best tool to record the screen fluently and to convert to DVD for tutorials and product demonstations and with all the free add-ons you can get off their site it’s a all-in-one package.

    There are free alternatives to this program however you need multiple apps to do the job of this one.

    Even with a heavy program running Camtasia Studio is still able to do the job.

    It’s nice to see that Techsmith is doing such a promo.. would be nice to win would definitely help with the learning tools I am working on from home.

    I am going to organize a cyber quizz competition in my college.I was thinking of creating an interactive teaser for that competition and uploading to my college’s intranet.This app will really come in handy in this situation.However being a college student(unemployed thus!!),I can’t afford to buy such pricey software.So plz count me in…..

    Camtasia Studio level the capturing capabalities to high summit and fill the gaps where windows in all versions fails to overcome. By default, Windows is set to record internal microphone, or a microphone attached to the sound card. If you want to record from something other than the internal microphone, we need Camtasia Studio.

    I Like the Improved SmartFocus technology to deliver easily good quality videos. Copy and paste video portions.The PowerPoint plug-in that allows to take presentations and turn them into videos. Sketch motion feature to point something out to the user of your video. YouTube integration to quick upload.

    Also Camtasia Studio is a good soft to educate novice in the field of better capturing moments in motion.

    I think this is a great giveaway for those who use screen recorders to make videos. I personally would reap great benefit from using Camtasia Studio 7 because it is a really great software that helps recording demos easy, improves productivity in recording, and of course is the market leader in screen recording software. I especially would want Camtasia Studio 7 because of the excellent new features packed in it such as SmartFocus for smooth zoom and pan, Copy and Paste portions of video to another spot directly on time, Enhanced Callouts, Storing callouts in a library a real timer saver, and of course a great new user friendly UI.
